The middle row features tubes with hidden colors (question marks). The choke point is revealing these colors without clogging your empty tubes; you must ensure you have at least one tube nearly empty before uncovering a new hidden color.

The true breakthrough occurs when you finally merge the red and pink colors into their own tubes. Completing these two colors frees up enough space in the middle row to easily sort the remaining blue and brown layers.
