Immediately focus on moving the visible top layers, such as the green and yellow, to reveal the hidden colors beneath the question marks. You cannot plan effectively until you know what is in the bottom of the tubes.

In the mid-game, colors like orange and pink become scattered. Be careful not to trap a single layer of a color at the bottom of a tube, as this effectively reduces your available sorting space.
